Edgo Hosts Second Technical EDGE Certification Session for Developers

Amman, Jordan – April 17, 2025 – Following the success of the exclusive EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) seminar held on 18 February 2025, Edgo, in partnership with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Abdali Developers Association (ADA), hosted a second, in-depth technical session at the IFC offices at the Edgo Atrium (EAB). Organized in response to increasing interest from participants, the session focused on equipping developers with practical guidance on achieving EDGE certification.

Targeted at developers, architects, and sustainability professionals, the session provided hands-on insight into certification pathways, technical tools, and the link between EDGE and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) performance metrics. Presentations were delivered by Abeer Shalan, Senior Operations Officer at IFC, and Maysoon Al Khuraissat, Sustainable Development Consultant and Green Building Advisor to IFC.

Participants explored how EDGE certification can improve project transparency, reduce emissions, and help meet sustainability targets. The session also highlighted the value of data-driven benchmarking and measurable environmental outcomes.

As the host of both sessions, Edgo continues to relentlessly pursue the path of sustainability and knowledge-sharing. Our approach to sustainable development is demonstrated through the pursuit of EDGE certification and alignment with our Net-Zero Emissions 2045 strategy.
