2012 has seen Camco firmly re-establish itself in Libya after the resumption of its operations in October 2011 following the country’s revolution. All the services offered by the company, before the revolution, have been re-introduced and there has been a steady increase in activity.
During 2012, Camco successfully completed a three month testing campaign with Sirte Oil Company in the Lahib field, with no lost time and no injury. In addition, Camco is now close to completing a year long campaign in the Hamada field for the Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO), where its operations team have tested all wells with a reported efficiency of 97%.
2013 will see the expansion of Camco’s perforating offering, the introduction of additional open hole logging tools and the active participation in services to exploration companies.
