During the holy month of Ramadan, Edgo employees in Jordan and Libya came together to support underprivileged families and orphaned children through a series of impactful activities organized under the Better Edgo Citizens (BEC) Program.
In Jordan, as part of the Tarmem Initiative and in partnership with جمعية بيارق المريجمات – مادبا (Madaba), the team packed food parcels containing essential items at Edgo’s headquarters at the Edgo Atrium. The parcels were then distributed directly to families in need, reinforcing Edgo’s commitment to social responsibility and meaningful community engagement. In addition, the team joined orphaned children for a special Iftar gathering at Avenue Park in Avenue Mall in Al Swaifyeh, spending time with the children through play and shared moments, creating a warm and joyful experience that embodied the true spirit of Ramadan.
In Libya, team members from Edgo group companies, Camco, ESP, and GOS, partnered with the Al Mahabba Charity for Orphan Care to prepare and distribute Ramadan food packages to families in need. The team assembled the parcels at the companies’ offices before coordinating with Al Mahabba to ensure their delivery to vulnerable households across Tripoli.
In Oman, Edgo collaborated with the Oman Autism Society to support families of children with autism. The team prepared and delivered the packages directly to the charity’s location in Al Athaiba, Muscat, where the Edgo team joined the society in distributing the parcels to the families.
These initiatives reflected Edgo’s continued dedication to supporting the communities it operates in, strengthening its role as a responsible and engaged corporate citizen.
